For Our Partners

Christmas Wonderland is an exciting experience for the entire family to come together and celebrate Christmas. During the Christmas season, families are searching for a place they can go with their entire family to experience Christmas. This year, along with the Promenade Mall (4107 S Yale Ave, Tulsa, OK 74135), we will transform the entire 2nd floor into Tulsa’s Christmas Wonderland Village.

Christmas Wonderland will excite both the child and adult in you, as you walk from room to room, all centered around enjoying the best of Christmas. This experience will include a walk-through wonderland village, filled with Christmas activities, all designed to bring families together. The event will run for 18 nights, December 1st-18th, 2022, 6pm-9pm each night.

Each room is designed to showcase an activity for families to do together:

  • Elf Workshop- each child builds a wooden toy they can take home with them

  • Santa’s Post Office- each child can write a letter to Santa and mail it in the post office

  • Wrap a Toy Station- because we know Christmas is not only about receiving a gift, it is also a season for GIVING. We want to help parents teach that lesson to their families. Each child will pick a toy off of our Toy Shelves and walk over to our wrapping station that is filled with hundreds of rolls of every color of wrapping paper and supplies. They will then wrap that toy for a child in need, and place it in our Toy Chest to be given away. We partner with many different non-profits who will help us disperse those toys across our city to families in need this Christmas. Toys will also be given away each night of the event, to families who identify they are in need of toys this Christmas.

  • Mrs. Claus’s Kitchen- everyone receives a hot chocolate chip cookie and can take a picture with Mrs. Claus.

  • Let It Snow- families can enjoy a room filled with fake snow

  • Hit The Grinch- play snowball dodgeball with the Grinch.

  • Virtual Reality Gaming Room- teens 12+ can put on our VR headsets and play Christmas themed VR games

  • Reindeer Barn- Meet all of Santa’s reindeer, including a real-life reindeer named Rudolph. Families can find out why Santa chose each reindeer for his high-flying team. Each reindeer was chosen for a specific reason relating to a lesson for each child: Dasher is courageous, Dancer is brave, Prancer is humble, Vixen is truthful, Comet is self-confident, Cupid is kind, Donner is generous, Blitzen is patient, and Rudolph is uniquely and wonderfully made.

  • Build A Snowman- each child can build a giant life size snowman with all the hats, gloves, and accessories you can imagine.

  • Lifesize Snowglobe – families can take a photo at our 16-foot snowglobes.

  • Santa’s House- everyone gets to meet with Santa and sit in his sleigh.

But the TRUE REASON for the season, is of course Jesus’s birth and the purpose behind Christmas Wonderland. As families venture out of the Wonderland village, they will enter into a live nativity scene, showcasing the true reason for Christmas. Each family will hear the Christmas Story being read from the Bible, as well as one-on-one ministry by volunteers provided by churches from around the city.

Before exiting, each family will be prayed over, invited to church and asked what needs they may have (ie: if we find they are in need of gifts, elves will take their children to the petting zoo so the kids do not see, while parents bring their car around to the “Gift Line” and we will load 3 gifts per child right there in the vehicle. This will also be a great ministry opportunity for families to be connected to churches who are sponsoring that night at Christmas Wonderland and an opportunity to share all about your ministry across the city.

What does it mean to be a sponsoring church/organization at Christmas Wonderland? Just 3 simple things:

1. Provide 8-15 volunteers to help decorate/setup 1 room in the Wonderland Village. We will provide all the décor and design plan, we just need helping hands to setup. You can schedule your room setup beginning October 25th-November 4th, Tuesday-Friday.

2. Schedule 1 or 2 nights you would like to completely run the Christmas Wonderland Event during December 1st-18th with your volunteers. You will need 100 volunteers to run the rooms with volunteers all provided by your organization. If your church is not large enough to run the entire night, we will combine you with other churches and organizations your size. A sign will be placed at the event showcasing your church/organization has sponsored the night.

3. Provide 8-15 volunteers to help tear down/pack up 1 room in the Wonderland Village during January (after the new year). For the churches/organizations that help us sponsor this event, we will be giving all remainder of toys to them on December 19th (the day after the event ends). We are expecting to have around 20,000 toys total for this event, but we know we will not use all the toys for the event. We will send out an email to schedule pickups at the Promenade Mall on December 19th of the remainder of the toys allocated to you.
